Nicholas Medel D.D.S. M.D. 

As the son of an Oral Surgeon, Dr. Nicholas Medel recognized his calling at an early age while working alongside his father. He was accepted to the Lyman Briggs School of Natural Sciences at Michigan State University where he pursued medical technology. He received his dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy with honors being inducted into the National Dental Honor Society Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU).

Following graduation, he then moved to Texas to earn his Medical Degree from the UT Southwestern School of Medicine. Dr. Medel completed his residency training program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Memorial and Affiliated Hospitals in Dallas, Texas. He now remains involved in numerous professional societies and has authored multiple journal publications and textbook chapters.

While in medical school. he married the love of his life, a native Texan. He and his wife are currently expecting a baby girl. His personal interests include spending time with family, fishing and hunting in the great outdoors, playing guitar, and working out.
